Description

Bilingual edition with texts in Spanish and English

The “Itineraries of Architecture” collection aims to encourage direct visits to the work of the protagonists of modern and contemporary architecture, due to the educational value that implies living the architectural space in first person. A small format book is the useful means to guide us during the visits, while the interactive DVD is proposed as a “virtual itinerary”.

The sixth number of the collection is dedicated to the Brazilian architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha, Pritzker Prize winner in 2006. The publication contains complete file information, location map, UTM coordinates, drawings and images of 60 works, concentrated mostly in Brazil, and specifically in the State of São Paulo. The interactive DVD contains the complete texts and essays, plus images and sketches of the projects, as well as a video-interview with Paulo Mendes da Rocha himself.
