

GUILLERMO VÁZQUEZ CONSUEGRA performed their studies in the School Architecture Seville titled as an architect in 1972. Until 1987 has been Professor of Composition Elements and later Professor of design. Since then he has combined his professional activity with teaching.
He has been visiting professor at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (1995-1997) and at Syracuse University School of Architecture, New York (2001), among others. In recent years he has taught as visiting professor at various schools of architecture around the world. Since 2007 he is professor at the Academia di Mendrisio of the Università della Svizzera italiana.
His works and projects have been widely published in major national and international magazines and has participated in numerous seminars and conferences around the world. His works had been present in all the Biennials of Architecture organized by the Spanish Ministry of Public Works, as well as in I and II Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture and Civil Engineering. In 2005 he received the National Prize of Spanish Architecture.
