FRANCIS RAMBERT is architecture critic. Since 2004 he is director of the French Institute of Architecture, Department of Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine in Paris.
Journalist, he hosted "architecture" in the pages of "culture" of the newspaper Le Figaro, from 1990 to 2004. Participated in the creation of the magazine "d'Architectures" in 1989, and he was editor until 2002. He also signed numerous articles on architecture and design in the art press, "Beaux Arts", "Le Journal des Arts" and especially in the magazine "Connaissance des Arts", which became a regular contributor. Author of several books on architecture, including a monograph about Massimiliano Fuksas in 1997, published by Editions du Regard. He has published "Architecture Tomorrow", published by Terrail (2005).
He has curated several exhibitions, including "Move architecture", "Cities in Motion" (Paris, 2002) and the Biennale of Architecture in Buenos Aires (1998 and 2001) and Rotterdam (2003). He participates regularly in Lieu Unique in Nantes, in the course of public architecture.
In 2008, he signed the commission of the French Pavilion of the Venice Architecture Biennale under the theme "GénéroCité, the generic vs the generous".
In 2009 he was responsible for putting on display the contents of the outcome of the consultation about the future of the metropolis of Paris: the 10 projects of "The Great Paris" presented at Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine, in the prestigious Galerie des Moulages at Trocadero Palace. An exhibition designed for international roaming.
FRANCISCO DAROCA BRUÑO is an architect since 1978 by the University of Seville (School of Architecture), where he serves as Professor of Architectural Design. He is an academic correspondent of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando and Patron of the Foundation for Contemporary Architecture. He has been Dean of the College of Architects of Cordoba from 2002 to 2005.
He has drafted the Andalusian Registry of Contemporary Architecture province of Cordoba, the Cordoba Architecture Guide, the Urban planning for protection of the historic centre of Cordoba, books - catalog about Rafael de La-Hoz and José Rebollo Dicenta. Several texts, chapters and articles in books, newspapers and magazines. Speaker at various conferences and visiting professor at various university courses.
He is coordinator of International Cooperation of the Government of Andalusian in the city of Fez (Morocco). He was the coordinator of the Forum "Historic Centres. The beating heart” and the Agreed Rehabilitation Area of Ajerquía North Cordoba.
He has won several prizes among others, First Prize for built Architecture Felix Hernandez 1990-1991 / 1995-1996 / 2006-2007; First Prize for Research College of Architects Western Andalusia 1992. First prize Centro Habana and 1st Mention in Habana Vieja in the competition "Three corners in Havana" on year 2000. Second prize in the Competition for Contest Social Service Centre Las Quemadas, Cordoba 2000. First prize Plot 2.11 in the Competition "6 New Buildings for Córdoba 6" on year 2001.
