

CARME PINOS, after achieving international recognition with Enric Miralles with projects like the Igualada Cemetery (First Prize of the European Biennial of Architecture in Milan in 1991 and Fad Award in 1992), founded his own studio in 1991.
Is currently underway, including the headquarters of the Regional Delegation of the Terres de l'Ebre Tortosa, the Museum of Transport and Public Works and the Metropolitan Park in Malaga, the intervention in the Gardunya Square (Barcelona), Massana School, Building for the University of Economics of the New Campus Vienna and Caixaforum of Zaragoza. In 2008 she received the National Prize of Architecture and Public Space from the Department of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia for his career.
She has combined his work as an architect with teaching and participation in seminars, courses and workshops, having been a visiting professor, among others, in Columbia University in New York (1999), in l'Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (2001-2002), the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (2003), the Accademia di Archittetura di Mendrisio in Switzerland (2005-2006) or at the Universita di Roma Tre (2007-2008 ).
