The Fundación Arquitectura Contemporánea is the result of an initiative launched in 2002 by a group of professionals with a keen interest in the development of contemporary architecture. The nature of the Fundación is, therefore, purely private, although its attitude is one of clear commitment to the public dissemination of an activity which exerts a decisive influence over the population’s living conditions.
The Fundación’s three major objectives with regard to contemporary architecture are: research, dissemination and creation.
